Why We Do What We Do

A note from our owner, David Phillips:

I am passionate about small business.

I love to work with small business owners, founders, and entrepreneurs, but most especially, anyone who is passionate about the work they do!  It means so much to me to be able to impart some of my knowledge and experience and assist someone else in accomplishing their dreams.  This is why I do what I do.

It’s always exciting to hear about what a new entrepreneur is trying to accomplish.  Having started, built and sold my own successful eCommerce company during the .com boom, I have a passion for starting anything new.  At this point in my career, I’m now able to work with entrepreneurs who are in the same position now that I was in 20 years ago….great idea….right time…right place…right execution!

Of course, it’s not always easy being an entrepreneur.  Often you have to wear every hat until you can hire good people to join your team.  Even then, founders of companies will often need to do something outside their wheelhouse to ensure the success of the company.   This is where my services come in!

Having been an entrepreneur and worked in the corporate world with executives of multi-billion dollar public corporations, I understand what it takes to perform at this level.  You can find out more about the services I offer here, but suffice it to say, unless you have a background in Finance or Leadership, there’s most likely an area in which I can be of service to YOU!

Because I love hearing about other entrepreneurs and their stories, I offer a free one-hour initial consultation.  This is an opportunity for you to ask me any questions about my background and, most importantly, for you to tell me more about what you’re trying to accomplish.  What’s your mission?  How are you going to accomplish that mission?  What are your plans once you have accomplished it?  Who have you brought alongside you to accomplish those plans?  What are your current challenges?  Where do you feel you’re falling short?  What are your current and future risks?  What are your opportunities?  The answers to these questions help me to understand better your situation and whether or not I can be of service to you.  If I don’t think I can, I will tell you so!  Honesty and integrity are extremely important to me and, to be honest, I have enough work that I’m not desperate to enter into an agreement to do something I know I can’t do!

So reach out to me and schedule an initial consultation.  Then we will talk and see where it goes from there!
